Don't Encourage Your Kid to Bother the Service Dog

Apparently this is not uncommon, although today was the first time it happened to me.

I was at the grocery store, with Isaac, and a man was pushing a cart down the aisle with a toddler in it.  He pointed out the doggie to the toddler, then started calling, "Here, Doggie, Doggie!"  Then he started barking at the doggie.  The man, not the toddler.

Besides looking like an idiot, what is that teaching his kid?

  1. I don't understand how people can be so rude. A man with kids harassed my husband and his service dog so bad we had to call security at the store . His wife kept telling him to stop but he just yelled at her too. His children saw all this and I felt so sad for them. People can be so stupid and insensitive.

    1. Wow. I've never had anything like that happen. I know someone that was harassed so much by one man at the grocery store, that the store manager threw the man out and he is now banned permanently from that store. I just can't understand why adults act like that.
